United States National Guard
Services Provided:
Industrial Hygiene
GLE completed industrial hygiene assessments at 76 National Guard West locations. These assessments included evaluation of processes, personal noise level monitoring, short term sound level measurements, lighting and ventilation surveys, and basic indoor air quality parameters.
The objective of the industrial hygiene assessments is to assess the exposure levels for comparison to applicable Army National Guard Regulations, as well as American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH), and OSHA and State OSHA established permissible exposure limits (PELs). Evaluation of observed processes is described with a Health Hazard Information Module, which describes the observed processes, number of personnel, hazards associated with processes, personal protective equipment, and engineering controls.
