Palatka Pulp and Paper Mill

GLE was awarded a five year Master Service Agreement for Environmental Services with the Georgia-Pacific Corporation for work at the Palatka Pulp and Paper Mill.

GLE provided on-call environmental consulting services including asbestos, lead-based paint, industrial hygiene and indoor air quality services.

GLE performed a facility wide asbestos survey from June 2007 to July 2008. The survey included the sampling and analysis of over 3,500 bulk samples of suspected asbestos-containing materials. As part of the survey, all sample locations were marked in the field with numbered metal tags attached with a tie-wire. GLE provided an electronic database of Sample Identification Markers and associated results.
