Broward County Public Schools

GLE served as the term environmental consultant for the School Board of Broward County. Included in the scope of this contract was asbestos, lead, mold, and related IAQ consulting services and remedial actions. Under this contract, GLE completed thousands of projects, including asbestos inspections for AHERA compliance, asbestos abatement monitoring, lead paint inspection, contamination assessments, remedial design, remedial actions, and emergency response. GLE also performed IAQ and mold evaluations of over 30 school campuses. After each project was completed, GLE’s architectural group designed remedial and replacement activities.
